2024 Men's Roundup

September 6-8 at Camp Tadmor, OR
Featuring John Lynch (Speaker) & Jason Winters (Musician)

As a result of this weekend, we envision that God will impact men in a variety of ways by moving them to: come to faith in Christ, connect with each other and their local church, live in obedience to Christ, and foster leadership in their marriages, families, churches, and communities.

MEN'S ROUNDUP | cHRISTIAN cONFERENCE | cAMPING rETREAT

The Mens Roundup christian conference is a men’s camping retreat held in a forested mountaintop setting at Camp Tadmor in Lebanon, Oregon where men are encouraged to believe, obey, connect, and lead. Roundup features an inspiring primary speaker, well-known guest artists and musicians, biblical teachers leading action workshop breakout sessions, great food, and opportunities for guys to worship, learn, grow, and connect with other guys. Roundup is also a wonderful opportunity to appreciate God’s beautiful creation, hang out with friends, and break a sweat in the Roundup Race or other sports competitions and outdoor recreation activities.

John Lynch

2024 Speaker

John Lynch is a winsome and authentic communicator of grace, our identity in Jesus, and His unchangeable love for us.  His Two Roads talk has been viewed by hundreds of thousands all over the world. He has acted out this message on tour with Mercy Me and in hundreds of venues throughout the country.

With a group called Sharkey Productions, he has co-written, directed, and acted in several dozen plays performed in theaters and churches throughout the Phoenix area.

John’s most recent book is On My Worst Day and he has co-authored their best-selling book, The Cure, along with Bo’s Cafe, The Cure and Parents, and the devotional Trust for Today. His really cool wife, Stacey, travels with John to many of his speaking events, helping him find the auditorium and making sure his shoes match.

They delight in their three children, Caleb, Amy, and Carly, along with their spouses and four grandchildren.

JASON WINTERS

MUSICIAN

Jason Winters has been writing music, recording worship albums, and leading worship for over 20 years. He’s produced four worship albums and is about to release his fifth album called No More Wandern’. He is currently one of the Lead Pastors at Mountain View Community Church in Ramona Ca.

Jason is so excited about this new project for a few reasons. One, this album created a chance for him to return to his country/bluegrass roots. He learned to play guitar by jamming with his grandparents in their bluegrass circles in his teen years. The caliber of players that have contributed to this project is mind blowing! Between Jim Soldi on guitar (Johnny Cash/ Ricky Skaggs), Dennis Caplinger on dobro (Eric Clapton/Vince Gill/Nickle Creek), Lauren Leigh Martin (nominated best pop album in San Diego), and Kevin Ryan on pedal steel, there are some amazing performances on this album!

Spanish Conference Speaker

Ángel studied at the Río Grande Biblical Seminary where he obtained his B.A. in Pastoral Ministry. After graduating, he married Raquel and they both went to minister in Spain. Ángel was pastor of the Iglesia Cristiana Evangélica de Tomelloso from 1999 to 2014. Currently, he serves as the Hispanic pastor of Newport FBC. He has two children, Ángel Gabriel and Miguel Ángel.

One of his favorite verses and the first to memorize is:

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.”—1 Timothy 4:12

Each year we provide not only an awesome primary speaker but engaging and informative breakout speakers you can go to during your free time throughout the event. This year we’ll be bringing back the same format we did in 2023 with only a few speakers. This allows you and your group to visit all of them if you wish during the course of the event. We haven’t nailed down the specific speakers but you can expect them to focus primarily around the  Men’s Roundup values (seen below).

The Men’s Roundup board elected this year to no longer print a booklet for the event. With our new digital check-in process which we pioneered last year, the booklets are not needed for registration any longer.

The booklet costs have been  increasing to a point now where it doesn’t make sense to pre-print them. There will be NO printed booklet for the event. If you wish to have a printed flyer for the eve4nt, you may download one using the links below.

2024 OFFERING PROJECT - Forum Heating

The offering for Men’s Roundup this year will go toward improvements in the Forum, specifically around heating the Forum during the colder months. Years ago, the Forum was built by Men’s Roundup for this event. As Camp Tadmor’s schedule has gotten busier and camp has become a year-round rental location, the need for a large, heated, indoor space has grown.

Church Venture Northwest’s winter youth events, Growth Getaway, and Winter Youth Conference, currently rent large tents to mitigate this issue, but this is a mediocre solution that is quickly becoming very expensive.

This year’s offering will help fulfill this need and provide a heated indoor space for the churches, events, and other groups that are served by Tadmor during the rest of the year. After getting bids from local heating companies, the estimated cost of this project is $20,000. Camp Tadmor has committed to cover the remaining funds needed after the offering.
